Through the generosity of Meier Lake Retreat Center we are able to keep the same costs as last year:    

Sliding scale:     $390 - $490

Please consider donating additional money and/or air travel mileage to people who wish to attend but experience financial obstacles. All remaining money after the retreat is donated to Katog Choling

From outside the USA, please send a money order as checks take 6-8 weeks to clear.

Anchorage Transportation Coordination:  Do you need transportation from the airport to the Meier Lake Conference Center? If so, you must contact Max at:

o       (Please do not plan to arrive Saturday morning or the middle of the night Friday night- we can move in to the conference center Friday afternoon to be ready to start Saturday morning).

Meals:  We will be providing abundant and tasty vegetarian fare.  We request that you come equipped for any special dietary needs, supplements, or special treats. [The meals are planned to include a good amount of protein and abundant quantity]

Housing: As you can see from the Meier Lake website, the housing is in small well-heated cabins with a central bathhouse very close by. Some attendees feel the need to have a restroom within the same building as their room. PLEASE NOTE: There are only a limited number of beds (4) within the main facility (and they tend to have more environmental noise during the night). If this is a critical factor for you, please consider this limitation before registering.

Other health issues we should know about: 

If you have any chronic or serious physical or mental health issues or you require medication or other treatment that might become an emergency situation we should know about, please describe this for us below. There are no medical facilities near the conference center. The nearest hospital is 15 miles away. Information will be kept with the retreat coordinators for emergency situations only and destroyed after the retreat.
